31st Annual Zoo Ball
Proceeds Benefit the Zoological Society of Milwaukee
Date: Saturday, June 28, 2014
Since its inception in 1984, the annual Zoo Ball has raised over $8 million and is the single biggest means for providing funding for the Zoological Society’s ambitious mission. This year’s event, “Summertime in the Serengeti,” will provide the needed funding to take part in conserving wildlife and endangered species around the world, educate over 200,000 people annually about the importance of wildlife and protecting the environment, and supports the construction of new exhibits and events in the nationally renowned Milwaukee County Zoo.
To go along with this year's "Serengeti" theme Alaina has selected a necklace that features an etched beach stone portraying ancient tribal
cave drawings and a cool color theme of browns, white, and aqua. Bid on this necklace to help raise the funding needed for this nationally renowned zoo and the incredible outreach it takes part in to preserve this world's ecosystems.

44th Annual Carroll University Pioneer Golf Classic
Proceeds Benefit the Champions4Life Fund
Date: Saturday, June 23, 2014
Now in its 44th year, this annual charity gold outing is hosted at the Legend at Brandybrook in Wales, Wisconsin. It raises funds to benefit Champions4Life which has the goal to use its funding to enable Carroll University student-athletes to achieve a margin of excellence through facility, travel and academic programming needs. While excellence on the court and in the field is essential, the ultimate goal of providing an exemplary educational experience for the student-athletes is never overlooked.
Carroll University is Wisconsin's oldest higher education institution, founded in 1841. They center on their "four pillars" of education: integrated knowledge, lifelong skills, enduring values, and providing a gateway experience that helps graduates take what they have learned and apply to the real world. As a Carroll alum, Alaina is proud to help this fantastic organization.
Alaina has selected a lapis lazuli pendant to be up for bid in the charity auction that coincides with the celebration after the gold classic.
